• Do I need a visa?
      You must be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six months after your return date with at least 3 blank pages. No visas are necessary for most countries but we do advise that guests contact their local embassy and make sure they don’t need one.
    • What vaccinations/medication do I need?
      South Africa no vaccinations are required however we recommend your tetanus to be up to date. Malaria medication is not required in the Waterberg, the Cape Winelands or the Wild Coast. Botswana, this is a low risk malaria area and the official advice is that guests contact their physician and take the necessary prophylactics.
    • Do cell phones work?
      You will get coverage although sometimes only in a few select places. If you cell phone has international roaming you should get connection in most areas of South Africa .  If you want to purchase a South African sim card upon arrival please do buy a MTN sim card as it is the only network that we get.
    • Money
      We suggest you don’t change too much money into the local currency as your holiday is fully inclusive. Gratuities are at your discretion and can be paid in Pounds euros of dollars.
  • What should I bring?
    As well as comfortable riding clothes we recommend the following;
    Hat, Lip-ice, Sun protection cream factor 20 or higher, riding shoes. Swimming costume. Light weight long sleeved shirts.
